PYROSEQUENCING EXTENDS VACUUM PREP TOOL CAPABILITIES AND INTRODUCES NEW ACCOMPANYING WORKSTATION Uppsala, Sweden, February 26, 2003 - Pyrosequencing AB (Stockholm: PYRO A) today announced that the acclaimed Pyrosequencing(TM) Vacuum Prep Tool is now available for all 96-well format Pyrosequencing genetic analysis systems - extending the benefits of batch processing 96 post- PCR samples in less than 15 minutes to PSQ(TM)96MA and PSQ(TM)96 System customers. The Vacuum Prep Tool is also more cost effective due to doubling the life of the 96 filter probes within the hand-held device. Sample preparation convenience and workflow ergonomics are further improved with the introduction of the new accompanying Vacuum Prep Workstation. The bench-top Workstation consists of a Vacuum Prep Tool in combination with the new Worktable, which contains strategically placed solution troughs, an integrated vacuum pressure gauge and a storage position for the Vacuum Prep Tool. The new Worktable is available as an upgrade package for previously purchased Vacuum Prep Tools.
