OBU CONTRACT IN BRASIL – 30 MNOK

Q-Free has been awarded an order for On Board Units (OBUs) from Centro Gestao Meios de Pagto (CGMP) in Brazil valued at 30 MNOK.

The order is a call off on an earlier announced tag frame agreement for 100 MNOK. (22nd of June 2009) CGMP is the largest concessionaire in Brazil and has been an established customer of Q-Free since 1999 supplying both OBUs and roadside equipment. -Product sale has been an important part of Q-Free’s activity in Brazil for 10 years. The demand for tags has increased during these years, and we are very pleased to be a preferred supplier in this growing market, CEO in Q-Free Dr. Øyvind Isaksen comments. The order will be produced and delivered during the first half of 2010. Q-Free has a fully-owned subsidiary in São Paulo, Brazil. Trondheim 28.September 2009.
