Q-FREE –NEW ORDERS OF NOK 24 MILLION IN NORWAY
Trondheim, 1 April, 2014: Q-Free strengthens the activities in Norway through extension of four existing service agreements for the AutoPass system, two new AutoPass roadside deliveries, and increased scope in the existing central systems agreement with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration. The total combined contract value is NOK 24 million and the contracts have a further potential of NOK 15 million over the lifetime of the projects.
-These contracts confirm that we have an attractive portfolio offering in our home market in Norway, says CEO Thomas Falck in Q-Free.
Q-Free currently has 11 agreements for service and maintenance of the AutoPass system in Norway. Six of these were extended already in February, and the company has now been awarded an extension for another four. One smaller agreement yet remains to extend.
Furthermore, the company has been awarded two new delivery projects, on Askøy and in Hålogaland, both including service and maintenance agreements. These awards may still be contested under the procurement procedures of the Norwegian Public Roads Administration.
The extension of the contract for operation of the central system for toll collection relates to new installation completed in 2014.
