Q-Labs - New Board of Directors
Q-Labs - New Board of Directors Q-Labs, the world-leading software engineering services company, presented a new Board of Directors in an extra general meeting on December 12. The new Board consists of seven directors, of whom three members are appointed externally. The other four directors are represented by the owners Ratos, Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and Ericsson. Q-Labs' new board consists of the following members: Mr. Lars-Olof Norell was appointed chairman. Mr. Norell is President of WIDE Audumbla AB, and has previously headed several operations of IT Consulting company Cap Gemini in Sweden and the Nordic countries. Mr. Norell holds a M.Sc. from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden. Dr. Markus Bayegan, Head of R&D and Technology, and member of the Group Executive Committee of ABB Ltd, is a new member of the Q-Labs' Board. Dr Bayegan holds a Ph.D. in Computer Aided Design from the Norwegian Institute of Technology in Trondheim, Norway and a M.Sc. in Electronics from the Technischen Universität in Vienna, Austria. Mr. Wolfgang G. Wagner, Vice President and partner with Management and Technology Consulting company Booz¤Allen & Hamilton, is also new on the Board. Mr. Wagner holds a MBA from the Harvard Business School, and undergraduate degrees from the European Schools of Business in Reutlingen, Germany and Reims, France. The owners' representatives are Mr. Bo Jungner, Senior Investment Manager with Ratos, together with Mr. Miklos Konkoly-Thege and Mr. Peter Rodholm, members of the DNV Executive Board. Both Mr. Konkoly-Thege and Mr. Rodholm have been on the Q-Labs' Board since 1998. Ericsson is represented by Mr. Lars Larsson, Director of Strategic Alliances. Mr. Larsson has been on the Q-Labs' Board since June 2000. Q-Labs provides solutions for managing risks in software engineering to major software intensive corporations. Mr. Geir Fagerhus is President and CEO.
