Michel Thomas is the new CEO for Qarlbo Energy

Michel Thomas has been appointed as the new CEO of Qarlbo Energy. Most recently he comes from EON where he for fifteen years held various roles, both nationally and internationally.
"Michel has a deep understanding of driving business and growth in a rapidly changing energy market. He has worked across the entire value chain – from large-scale power generation and energy distribution to customer solutions and sales. With his experience, Qarlbo Energy can become a leading player in the energy transition”, says Pär Nuder, chairman of the board of Qarlbo Energy.

The current CEO Johan Jemdahl will continue in Qarlbo Energy as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). He will focus on technology development and direct investment.
Qarlbo Energy is owned by Conni Jonsson and family and by FAM, owned by Wallenberg Investments. The company invests in companies that contribute to the transition towards a sustainable energy system. Qarlbo Energy is the majority shareholder in Nilsson Energy AB and Hydri AB.
