Midsomer Murders & Kitchen Nightmares – Two new global hit IPs for Qiiwis Branded Games division
The mobile game developer Qiiwi Games (Qiiwi) and All3Media International (ALL3MI) today announce that they have entered into strategic cooperation agreements to develop and publish one word game for the legendary detective drama Midsomer Murders and one match-3 game for the hit reality television series Kitchen Nightmares. The collaboration marks the third and fourth games Qiiwi develops and publishes within the business division "Branded Games" and the first two together with ALL3MI.
About Midsomer Murders
Midsomer Murders is a British television detective drama. Set within small English country villages, the show has an unusual identity as a crime drama peppered with both lighthearted whimsy and dark humour. The show is based on Caroline Graham's Chief Inspector Barnaby book series, as originally adapted for television by Anthony Horowitz. A major success in viewership since its first episode, the series has sold to over 200 territories.
The show’s popularity has not waned – series 21 is on screens around the world now - and series 22 is in pre-production. In many European countries the show is known as Inspector Barnaby - and it’s a top ten show for many broadcasters including those in France, Germany, Denmark and Sweden, for example.
About Kitchen Nightmares
Kitchen Nightmares is an American reality television series, in which a chef is invited by the owners to spend a week with a failing restaurant in an attempt to revive the business. Original series ran for six seasons on Channel 4 in the UK, and sold to US, Japan, Australia and Brazil, and widely across Europe including Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Germany and Portugal. US version ran for seven seasons on FOX, and has sold to Spain, South Korea, Mexico, Canada and France amongst others. The format has been created in over 25 local versions with a total of 100 seasons and 1,500 episodes produced.

Midsomer Murders and Kitchen Nightmares are two IPs where both All3MI and Qiiwi see a huge international potential and where the IPs audience and fans also is expected to fit well into the game genre selected for each IP. This is considered to be a very good starting point for being able to successfully drive large amounts of traffic to the games cost-effectively. Qiiwi and All3MI see this as the start of a long-term cooperation.

Qiiwi will develop, publish, maintain and market the games in cooperation with ALL3MI with a focus on using both traditional user acquisition for mobile games and ALL3MI/Midsomer Murders and Kitchen Nightmares network channels and social media channels. The companies have agreed a multi-year license deals, with the aim to launch both of the games internationally in 2021.
