Multi-year content agreement with Ty Pennington to act as main character in the upcoming mobile game Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

Developer and publisher Qiiwi Games and Furniture Unlimited, Inc today announce they have entered into a multi-year content agreement which involves the rights for Qiiwi Games to use the famous television host Ty Pennington as the main character in the new upcoming match-3 game Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, developed in partnership with Banijay Brands.

Ty Pennington is an American television host, designer, carpenter, and author. The instantly recognizable sound of Ty’s “Good Morning!” became an unmistakable sign of hope for families during his time with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The show that transformed the lives of thousands, and inspired millions more around the world. Under Ty’s leadership, the show was consistently rated among the top 20 of all television programs. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Reality Program, and two People’s Choice Awards.

About Extreme Makeover: Home Edition:

The television series Extreme Makeover: Home Edition showcases great stories, inspired volunteers and jaw-dropping home renovations for families who give back to their communities. The whole-home overhauls include interior, exterior and landscaping—all completed within a week. The format is represented internationally by Banijay.

The upcoming mobile game brings together Qiiwi Games established meta gaming mechanics strategy with Banijay's Extreme Makeover's format which involves captivating stories together with a large selection of renovation and decorating options for the players to manage. Ty Pennington will act as the main character and host in the game which is believed to be very appreciated by fans of the series and increase the overall performance of the game. More information is going to be given when the game starts soft launch.
