Over the weekend QleanAir Scandinavia participated in the third annual Shanghai Science Expo or PSPE. The Expo was a joint initiative taken by, among others, Shanghai Association for Science & Technology, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Science & Technology and Shanghai Science & Technology Museum. QleanAir Scandinavia exhibited their latest air cleaner, The AQ 115, developed for indoor environments, which features a sleeker design.

An announcement along with a certificate was awarded to QleanAir Scandinavia for this year’s prize for the "Outstanding Popular Science Product Award”. There to receive the award was QleanAir Scandinavia’s sales manager for the Chinese market, Haoge Li, together with Simon Westerlund; manager of Nordic Business House.

"There is great interest for our commercial product range and our service here in Shanghai", says Li. "Everyone wants clean air for their staff at work or their kids at school. People tend to do better and more efficient work when not exposed to high levels of particular air, so they see it as an investment in their staff rather than the cost of operations".

According to the home page of PSPE, the event also aims at advancing the translation of technical achievements into popular science products with a wider range of applications in people’s everyday life.

"It has only been a few years since we started marketing our products and technology in China. We see a great demand and a very well educated population that is increasingly asking for what we can offer to this market", says Jacob Laurin, head of exports at QleanAir Scandinavia.
