Quatro Electronics’ SmartTower® CCTV wins Product of the Year Award
UK technology SME lines up with techno giants Samsung, Sony and Honeywell in winners’ list
Quatro® Electonics has won New Product of the Year Award for its SmartTower® in the Perimeter Security category.
SmartTower is the latest in a series of innovations that have come out of Quatro in the last few years and enables customers to secure property and assets in remote or challenging environments. The award by US Security Products magazine was jointly received by B&B Electronics who worked with Quatro Electronics to develop the high-reliability cellular wireless communication and monitoring system. It enables users to install the SmartTower anywhere, wirelessly connect it to a remote control centre, and transmit high-bandwidth streaming video and CCTV images over high speed cellular infrastructures in the UK, USA and across Europe.
Other winners include the technology giants’ Samsung (Cameras and DVR accessories), Sony (Cameras) and Honeywell (NVR’s).
Quatro Electronics is the in-house innovation centre of VPS, the Vacant Property Specialists, who manage over £1 billion commercial and residential properties that are temporarily vacant. The SmartTower which was launched at the end of 2013 has already provided security support for remote and challenging premises such as construction and utility sites across the UK, USA and mainland Europe.
