QuiBids to Auction Off New 2010 Honda Civic

QuiBids is conducting its first car auction.

QuiBids, an online penny auction website that launched in late 2009, will auction off a new car. After already surpassing its 250,000th auction, QuiBids is ready to auction off another, higher-ticketed item. The auction is set to take place on Friday, July 23rd at noon CST.

The car of choice for this first car auction will be a brand new 2010 Honda Civic Coupe LX. “We chose this car because overall, we know Honda is a very reputable brand and has great reviews on their Civic lineup.” said Jeff Geurts, QuiBids’ CFO. “We are thrilled to offer this and all of our exciting auctions to our customers. We thoroughly enjoy searching for new offerings that our customers will value.”

QuiBids offers a “Buy It Now” feature on all of its auctions in which customers are able to use the value of the purchased bids placed on an auction towards the retail price of that item. “Whether we come ahead or take a loss, we want to give our customers more opportunities to participate in the higher-ticketed items. As always, just as we did in our auction of a trip for two to Hawaii, we will be offering the Buy It Now feature on the auction of the Civic.” said Geurts.
