New Managing Director at QuickBit eu AB (publ)

Jörgen Eriksson, Senior Advisor to the board of QuickBit eu AB (publ), will as of Monday, August 20, 2018, assume the role of Managing Director of the company. Departing MD Reinhold Konnander, will remain a member of the board of QuickBit.

Jörgen Eriksson has been Senior Advisor to the Board in QuickBit since March 2018. He has 30 years of management and business development experience, focusing on innovation, strategy and growth. Jörgen started his career in Swedish investment banks and was during the 1990’s, Director of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for Wall Street Systems, where he was responsible for the projects to create the European Central Bank´s (ECB) systems for the Euro market operations. During the last 20 years he has been active in a number of ground-breaking international projects. 

"Jörgen has an international focus, expertise and business profile, and his work in QuickBit since this spring has been to drive the development of the company's operational activities in Gibraltar. As a result, we see it as a natural step that he takes over the role of Managing Director. His experience from international business development in general, and his expertise in financial markets in particular, makes him ideal for the upcoming task of listing QuickBit whilst leading the continued development of the company, says Bengt Lagergren.
