Quicklight improves operational efficiency and delivers better customer service

As part of a continuous programme to improve its operational efficiency, lighting maintenance service provider Quicklight has been able to deliver better levels of customer service. 

Thatcham, Berkshire, 19th June 2012 – As part of a continuous programme to improve its operational efficiency, lighting maintenance service provider Quicklight has been able to deliver better levels of customer service. Quicklight introduced the process of seeking customer feedback last year to both measure customer satisfaction levels and to provide a mechanism for evaluating the performance of its lighting maintenance engineers when they visit customer sites.  

Quicklight’s customers have consistently returned high levels of customer satisfaction, peaking at 99% in February. 

Commenting on the process, operations and HR director Nicki Honey said, “Our service is based on a pay-as-you-go business model that doesn’t tie our customers into a contract. If we don’t consistently deliver excellent service, our customers can simply switch suppliers. That’s why we don’t just listen to customer feedback, we act on it and any issues or problems raised by customers are dealt with.”

“As well as using the customer feedback to measure and benchmark customer satisfaction levels,” continues Mrs Honey, “we also use the information to identify any gaps in our training programme and help improve the skills of our maintenance engineers.”

Quicklight’s lighting maintenance solution is designed for busy facilities managers with many services to look after. The company sends qualified engineers to its customers’ sites, anywhere in the UK, every eight weeks, to change any lamps and fittings that have failed. Quicklight doesn’t insist that its customers sign up to contracts and only charges for the parts its engineers install.
