Madison, Wis – (November 15, 2011) Quincy Bioscience, manufacturer of the award-winning memory supplement Prevagen, is pleased to announce, on National Memory Screening Day, an assessment is now available online at www.prevagen.com/memoryscreening/ for people who are interested in testing their memory.

National Memory Screening Day is an initiative of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, which first began in 2003 in order to promote early detection of memory problems. Individuals with memory concerns are encouraged to visit participating screening sites.

For those who would like the convenience of a memory test without leaving the house, Quincy Bioscience Mark Underwood encourages people to take the online memory screening test. “As a company committed to improving brain function of all people, we are pleased to make a memory loss test available,” said Underwood.

Although the assessment is not designed to diagnose a memory disorder, individuals can compare their results to average scores for their age in order to help determine the degree to which they may be experiencing memory difficulties.

For those scoring in the “Need Improvement” range, the memory supplement Prevagen has proven to help areas of cognitive function such as short-term memory, word recall, and learning. The Madison Memory Study showed significant improvement in cognitive function over ninety days in people over 40 years old who have memory concerns.

Individuals scoring in the “Seek Help” range are encouraged to see their healthcare professional for further evaluation.
