Rabbalshede Kraft granted environmental permit for Brattön Sälelund wind farm in Municipality of Munkedal

The Brattön Sälelund wind farm in the Municipality of Munkedal has granted an environmental permit. The wind farm encompasses up to 14 turbines corresponding to a power of 42 MW.

The application documents were submitted to the County Administrative Board in the County of Västra Götaland in November 2010. The Municipality of Munkedal subsequently approved the wind farm, which is a prerequisite for securing approval from the Country Administrative Board under the Swedish Environmental Code. The County Administrative Board in the County of Västra Götaland granted the environmental permit in November 2012, the permit has now gained legal force. The Company had permit under the Planning and Building Act for four of the wind turbines since before.
