Now open: Radisson SAS Hotel in Cologne, Germany

Brussles. Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts is proud to announce the opening of its first hotel in Cologne. This stunning hotel presents a unique architecture and design, coupled with an outstanding location just opposite the exhibition centre in Cologne-Deutz and only a five-minute-walk away from the Kölnarena – Europe’s biggest location for sports and show events. The MEUR 80 V-shape building combines the beauty of a design hotel with the comfort today’s business travellers expect. Investor is the Infra Immobilien GmbH Wuppertal.

Some of the 393 rooms and suites offer wonderful views of the famous Cologne cathedral, while others face the beautiful horticultural design of the hotel's inner courtyard.

Guests have the choice of fine dining at the "paparazzi" restaurant, offering Italian delicacies, where art enthusiasts will enjoy the permanent exhibition of unique pieces from the London Hulton Getty Gallery. The close-by courtyard with its pond will be a welcoming alternative during eight months of the year.

The all day "Pronto! mediterranean kitchen" offers a culinary alternative with an exquisite buffet. It is decorated with authentic natural material, such as glass mosaic, wooden floors and limestone to reflect the Mediterranean flair.

In the centre of the four storey high lobby one will find the huge paparazzi lounge Bar, featuring different artistic and musical events throughout the year.

Facilities include ten conference rooms of up to 975 square meters, a boardroom and a ballroom with foyer, beautifully decorated in dark colours and bright light. The garden and terrace can be used for breaks.

And after a long conference day, guests can relax in the 350 square meter wellness area "Vitarium", offering a sauna, a steam bath, a solarium, a fitness, as well as a massage room. The entire wellness area, including the outside relaxation terrace, are kept in the overall modern and mediterranean style.
