NO CHANGES IN RAISIO'S TAXATION

Due to the appeal filed by the Representative of the Tax Authority, The
Assessment Adjustment Board has sat upon the taxation case of the sales profits
of Raisio's chemicals business and decided as the Tax Office for Major
Corporations in the regular taxation for the fiscal year 2004. According to the
decision, the EUR 220 million sales profit is free of tax.
