RAISIO BOARD OF DIRECTORS PROPOSES A DIVIDEND OF EUR 0.05 PER SHARE

Raisio Board of Directors has decided to propose a dividend exceeding the
dividend policy level using the distributable assets accrued in the divestment of
the chemicals business in 2004. Dividend proposal to the Annual General Meeting,
to be held on 30 March 2006, is EUR 0.05 per share.
