RAISIO GROUP FOOD WORKERS ON STRIKE IN RAISIO

Raisio Group food workers at Raisio plants have today left their
working places. They have announced that the strike will continue
at least two days. The strike is illegal according to the employer
and FFDIF.

Finnish Food and Drink Industries’ Federation (FFDIF) and Finnish
Food Workers’ Union (SEL) are negotiating collective bargains. The
former collective agreement term ended at the end of February
2003. Raisio Group food workers have demanded local negotiations,
which Raisio Group can not enter into as the collective
negotiations are still ongoing.
