RAISIO GROUP RESULTS IMPROVING FROM THE COMPARISON PERIOD

The beginning of 2004 has shown improvements for all the business
sectors in Raisio Group. Raisio Chemicals’ turnover is on the level of
the comparison period, but the results are clearly better. Mainly due
to the structural changes, turnover of Raisio Nutrition is lower, but
operational result somewhat better than at the beginning of 2003.
Raisio Life Sciences has improved both the sales and the
profitability.
