RAISIO GROUP SOLD CARLSHAMN’S ICE-CREAM BUSINESS

Carlshamn Mejeri AB, part of Raisio Group plc, and Åhus Glass AB
(publ), part of Ingman Foods Oy Ab, agreed today on selling the
Carlshamn Mejeri’s ice-cream business in Sweden to Åhus Glass AB
(publ) according to the letter of intent signed in December. The
turnover of the ice-cream business was about EUR 15 million in
2001. The parties have agreed not to disclose the price of the
planned transaction.

Selling the ice-cream business is part of Raisio Group strategy to
release capital in order to develop core businesses. Through this
deal Ingman Foods strengthens substantially its position in the
Swedish ice-cream market.
