RAISIO GROUP SUPERVISORY BOARD DECISIONS Juha Saura appointed the new chairman of the Supervisory Board Raisio Group Supervisory Board decided to appoint Mr Juha Saura to become the new chairman from 23 November 2004 to 31 December 2005. Mr Ola Rosendahl will continue as the deputy chairman. He has been acting as the chairman since Mr Vesa Lammela, the former Chairman, resigned in spring 2004. Mr Michael Ramm-Schmidt has been appointed to Raisio Group Board as a new member. Mr Jörgen Grandell, Mr Christoffer Taxell and Mr Arimo Uusitalo were re-elected. All the today chosen Board members are independent from the company. Mr Olavi Kuusela and Mr Jukka Lavi were re-elected as deputy Board members, whereas Taru Narvanmaa and Jyrki Paappa were appointed new deputy Board members. All deputy Board members belong to company management. The renewal of Raisio Group Corporate Governance is under way. The proposed amendments of Articles of Association were approved for the first time by Extraordinary General Meeting, which was held on 30 September 2004. To finalise the amendments, another approval with the same content is needed. Assuming that the amendments will be approved again, the term of the Board members will be shortened to one year and the deputy Board member mandates will cease.
