RAISIO NUTRITION AND CEREALIA FOODS TO INTENSIFY THE CO-OPERATION

Raisio Nutrition, the subsidiary of Raisio Group, and the Swedish
food company Cerealia Foods have decided to intensify the
strategic co-operation both in Finland and in Sweden.

Firstly, Cerealia Foods’ sales organisation will start selling
Raisio’s products including Carlshamn Mejeri’s brands in Sweden in
January 2004. Secondly, Raisio Nutrition’s sales organisation will
start selling the, wider than earlier, product portfolio of
Cerealia Foods in Finland in May 2004.

Cerealia Foods is a part of Cerealia, one of the largest food
groups in Scandinavia with a turnover of approximately EUR 1
billion. The products are mainly cereal-based. The well-known
brands of Cerealia Foods include e.g. AXA, Start, Regal,
Kungsörnen and Hatting. Cerealia is a longtime partner of Raisio
and it owns a minority stake of 25% of Raisio’s milling company
Melia.

The intensifying co-operation enables both partners to have better
and more cost efficient sales organisation for their products. We
strongly believe that this will be favourable for our customers as
well as for the two companies.
