RAISIO’S OAT-BASED SNACK DRINK AWARDED AS THE BEST SMOOTHIE PRODUCT OF 2011 IN THE UNITED STATES

Simpli OatShake, an oat-based, dairy-free snack drink developed and manufactured by Raisio, was awarded as The Best Smoothie of 2011 in the United States. Simpli OatShake snack drinks have created a new product category of snack drinks in the U.S. by introducing completely plant-based and lactose-free snack drinks.

Simpli OatShake snack drink won the award for The Best Smoothie of 2011. The drink has been on the U.S. market since March 2011 and is available in two flavors: fresh Tropical Fruits and creamy Chocolate.

The award was granted by BevNET that has operated as the voice of non-alcoholic beverages in the U.S. since 1996. BevNET’s experienced and respected jury grants annual Best Of Awards, also called “Oscars” for non-alcoholic beverages, in Santa Monica, California.

Finnish consumers are also familiar with Simpli OatShake snack drinks as the drinks are part of Elovena product family in Finland. In the U.S., these snack drinks are sold and marketed under the name Simpli OatShake by the company Oat Solutions LLC founded by Finnish Helena Lumme and Mika Manninen.

Completely plant-based Simpli OatShake products have formed an entirely new product line of oat-based and dairy-free snack drinks to the U.S. market.

This recognition helps us stand out from hundreds of other smaller companies,” says Mika Manninen.
