STREAMLINING OF RAISIO GROUP BUSINESSES CONTINUES

Raisio Group will sell its almond paste business in Sweden to
Scandibaker AB on 1 April 2003. The turnover of the unit has been
annually about one million euros. The deal does not have a
significant impact on the result.

The sale of the almond paste business is a step in Raisio
Nutrition’s streamlining program including divestments of non-core
businesses.
