Rapunzel of Sweden establishes new salon in Malmö, Sweden
- Coming closer to their Southern Swedish and Danish customers
At the end of July Rapunzel of Sweden will open the doors to a newly established salon in Malmö, Sweden. Located at the centre of town on Storgatan and with roughly 250m2 boutique, salon and warehouse area the company hopes to reach even greater highs. With this new investment they also hope to come much closer to their Danish customers.
Renovations are in full progress at Rapunzel’s new site on Storgatan in central Malmö, Sweden. At the moment the windows are covered by hair but in just a few weeks short haired customers from both Denmark and Sweden will have the possibility to walk out the door with the Hollywood curls and long hair that so many of them have dreamt of for ever. Malmö is Rapunzel of Sweden’s recent major investment. A new salon in the town has certainly been long awaited and now Rapunzel can meet their customers’ needs much better. With a salon to cut, colour and put in extensions they can now give their customers personal expertise and help in person.
- The response so far has been really huge, we really believe in Malmö. Partly because it is the most amazing town but also in the fact that it lies geographically very close to very many of our Danish customers. With just 20 minutes to Copenhagen and the very central position in Malmö we hope we can give our customers the very best potential for getting their dream hair, says Elin Kämpebäck, Salon Manager at Rapunzel of Sweden.
Today roughly 10 per cent of the company’s customers come from Denmark. Most of them buy their hair extensions via the company’s webshop for attaching at home. The establishment of the salon means that there will be a closer relationship and better possibility to help customers that cannot or do not want to attach their hair themselves. But the journey doesn’t end in Malmö. Rapunzel is aiming to open more salons around Scandinavia and Europe in order to get even closer to their customers.

On the 25th July the salon will welcome you through its doors with a grand opening ceremony of the premises.
