Rapunzel of Sweden´s CEO, Ida Backlund, nominated for the award CEO of the year in Sweden
The hair extensions company Rapunzel of Sweden´s CEO Ida Backlund has been selected as one of six candidates for the award Sweden´s CEO of the year for small companies. The prize is handed out by the leadership site Motivation.se and the educational company Executive People, this to pay attention to skilled leaders that manage their organizations forward in a positive way.
- I´m very touched by the nomination, it means a lot to me. My staff here is the best and it´s thanks to them that we´ve managed to build this amazing company, says Ida Backlund after the announcement.
In order to be nominated requires that three criteria are met. Having an ability to build an organization and show good results for it. Having an ability to lead people and that through this leadership make people grow. And that the companies actively are working for a responsibility towards how the company affects society. Three criteria Rapunzel of Sweden and Ida Backlund thus fulfilled.

The prize is handed out in three categories; large-, medium and small companies. The other five nominated in the small company category are: Siamak Alian, Deltaco AB, Niklas Axelsson, Bioteria Technologies AB, Marie Dahllöf, GodEl Sweden AB, Johanna Frelin, Hyper Island and Jörgen Qwist DGC One AB.
The winner of the prize is selected by a jury consisting of ten people, among others, Ulf Spendrup (Vice President Spendrups), Cecilia Giertta (CEO Sveriges Bryggerier) and Kattis Ahlström (General Secretary, BRIS).
The award ceremony will take place on October 31 at Berns in Stockholm, Sweden.
