Farm shops have expanded their business from the humble roadside vegetable stall to encompass retail outlets, play areas and nature trails. As they look to stay ahead of the competition, cafes and restaurants, with an emphasis on home-made produce, have become an important part of their operation. This diversification has put pressure on staff to master quality cooking and baking alongside general customer care.
The new Rational SelfCookingCenter whitefficiency has been developed to make cooking as simple and reliable as possible, allowing farm shops to expand their menu options. By combining two new technologies, HiDensityControl® and Efficient LevelControl®, with the established SelfCooking Control® and the recently launched CareControl®, the new Rational can cook anything from pies, pizza, cakes, bread, soufflés, sausages and roasts to chicken dippers and jacket potatoes. Because the SelfCookingCenter whitefficiency does away with all the guesswork in cooking, it allows chefs to try recipes that were previously considered too complex or risky. With the new Efficient LevelControl (ELC) different food types can easily be cooked simultaneously in the SelfCookingCenter whitefficiency, so a varied menu can quickly be put together. It’s possible to cook a full English breakfast in 6 minutes with the minimum of fuss. ELC intelligently controls the cooking time for each rack, according to the amount and type of food loaded, and how often, and for how long, the door is opened during the cooking process. It means that everything is cooked to perfection, every time.
