Christmas can be crunch time in the kitchen. Everyone is working overtime, appliances are going full blast and chefs may experience meltdown. But with the right cooking equipment, chefs can spread their load and even get some of the cooking done overnight.

Its SelfCookingControl constantly monitors the food being cooked, automatically adjusting the cooking process as necessary and alerting the chef when the food is ready.

Rational’s Efficient LevelControl allows the chef to use each rack in the SelfCooking Center whitefficiency for distinct menu items, for example, steaks, grilled vegetables and fish can all be cooked at the same time with no taste transfer. When the day’s cooking is finished, the Rational needn’t stand idle. Before the chefs go home they can load it up and use the overnight cooking process to control the cooking, fully automatically, when there is no-one around. This option cooks the food very gently and is especially good for producing tender and succulent roasts.

Joints of pork, lamb and poultry can all be cooked overnight together. The biggest Rational is able to cope with up to 120kg of meat per load. If chefs want crisp pork crackling all they have to do is select the crackling setting when they return to the kitchen in the morning and the Rational will do the rest.
