In a deal between two Ratos subsidiaries, Inwido has acquired
Haendig's subsidiary DeCasa Interiör. The purchase price (Enterprise
Value) amounts to SEK 250 million. The sale will generate a capital
gain for Haendig of approximately SEK 180 million, but will not
affect on Ratos's result.

DeCasa Interiör is a subsidiary within the Haendig group consisting
of the companies Lundbergs Produkter, which develops and designs
accessories for doors, walls, windows and ceilings, and Duri, which
sells products for floors and walls. The sale of DeCasa marks the
final phase of the ongoing streamlining of Haendig. Following the
sale Haendig comprises the bathroom company Hafa Bathroom Group with
the Hafa and Westerbergs brands.

Ratos CEO Arne Karlsson comments on today's deal: "DeCasa Interiör
provides an important platform for Inwido's focus on accessories for
windows and doors. At the same time, Haendig is taking the final step
in its streamlining, which means that this deal benefits both
companies."

Ratos's holding in Haendig is 100% and in Inwido 95%. As a result of
today's deal 5% of Haendig's reported capital gain of approximately
SEK 180m will affect Ratos's consolidated earnings for the third
quarter of 2007.
