New Board Members proposed for Ratos

Three new Members have been proposed for election to the Ratos Board of Directors. This is announced in the Notice of the Annual General Meeting which is published today.
Board Members Peggy Bruzelius, Harry Faulkner, Göran Grosskopf, Arne Karlsson and Olof Stenhammar are proposed for re-election. Mikael Lilius, Lars Söderberg and Sven Söderberg are not standing for re-election.

Dividend of SEK 4.50 proposed
The Board of Directors proposes a dividend of SEK 4.50 per share (3.50) and also proposes that the AGM authorise the Board to acquire up to ten per cent of the Company's shares via the market.

Change of Name
The Board of Directors proposes that the Annual General Meeting resolve to change the name of the Company from currently "Förvaltnings AB Ratos (publ)" to "Ratos AB (publ)".

Söderberg prize for journalism
In connection with the AGM, Göran Albinsson Bruhner - recipient of the Söderberg Journalist of the Year 2000 Award - will make a speech on the theme "We are all in favour of a free press. We just can't stand the papers." The prize money is SEK 100,000.
The AGM will be held in Grand Hôtel, Vinterträdgården, in Stockholm on 13 April at 5.30 pm.
