Otto Drakenberg appointed new CEO of Arcus-Gruppen

Otto Drakenberg has been appointed as the new CEO of Ratos's subsidiary Arcus-
Gruppen with effect from 1 April 2011. Otto Drakenberg's most recent position
was with Carlsberg as CEO for the Swedish operations.
Otto Drakenberg is 44, has an MSc Econ from Stockholm University and has held
leading positions in several international and consumer-based companies,
including Procter & Gamble, Goodyear Dunlop, Scandinavian Tobacco Company and
Master Foods. Otto Drakenberg's most recent position was with Carlsberg as CEO
of the Swedish operations. He has also been a member of the boards of Sveriges
Bryggerier and Returpack.
"Otto Drakenberg has broad experience of building international brands and of
fast-moving consumer goods, which makes him a highly suitable CEO for Arcus-
Gruppen. We on the board are convinced that Otto together with the management
group and other employees will further strengthen Arcus-Gruppen's market
position both in the Nordic region and internationally," says Kaare Frydenberg,
chairman of the board of Arcus-Gruppen.
Otto Drakenberg will take up his position on 1 April 2011 and succeed Jan Tore
Føsund who resigned as CEO on 1 September 2010. Kaare Frydenberg has been
Executive Chairman since 1 September 2010.
Arcus-Gruppen is Norway's leading producer of spirits and one of the largest
suppliers of wine in the Nordic region through Vingruppen, Vinordia and Arcus
Wine Brands. The group's best-known brands include Braastad Cognac, Linie
Aquavit and Vikingfjord Vodka. Ratos's holding amounts to 83%.
