Ratos AB: Dahl acquires Bierregaards
Bierregaards operates in the Hevac industry with a focus on products for fastening, connecting and sealing pipes. The company has a nationwide presence in Sweden with its head office in Malmö, and is also represented in Norway through its subsidiary TD Olav Berge VVS Engros AS. Annual sales total approximately SEK 170m with an operating profit (EBITA) of approximately SEK 6m. The purchase price amounts to SEK 20m and provides Atle Industri with a small exit gain.

Dahl is the Nordic region's leading wholesaler and trading company for products within heating, ventilation & sanitation, water & sewer supply and pipe products for industry. Dahl is the market leader in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Poland, and has a strong position in the Finnish market. The Dahl Group's sales amounted to approximately SEK 12.5 billion in 2003.
Ratos's holding in Dahl is 41%.
