The Ratos Group’s adjusted EBITA increased 9% and organic growt amounted to 8% during 2022. The final quarter of the year was even stronger, with adjusted EBITA up 41%, and organic growth of 12%. The platform acquisitions conducted in 2021 displayed EBITA growth of 35% in 2022. The order intake was record-breaking and the year ended with the strongest order books to date. Ratos is delivering in line with the financial targets.
“A year ago, I summarised 2021 as a turbulent year, mainly due to the pandemic. 2022 turned out to be even more challenging, with a war close to our borders and high inflation. Despite this, Ratos delivered a strong performance for the year, with organic growth and strategic acquisitions on our path to becoming a more homogeneous group. Also, several high-profile contracts were secured in the Ratos Group that will accelerate the transition to a more sustainable society. Our acquisitions during the year were once again carried out within infrastructure and the Industry business area. These areas will be our focus going forward,” says Jonas Wiström, President and CEO, Ratos.
Sustainability is an intergread part of Ratos business model and a company owned by Ratos will strive to be an ESG leader in its respective industry.
