Ratos increases ownership in Jøtul

This information is disclosed in accordance with the Securities Markets Act, the
    Financial Instruments Trading Act or demands made in the exchange rules.
Ratos has signed an agreement to acquire Accent Equity 2003 Fund's shares in
Jøtul, thereby increasing its ownership in the company from 61% to 93%. The
purchase price is NOK 12m (approximately SEK 13m). The acquisition is subject to
approval from the relevant authorities and is expected to be completed in July.

The Norwegian company Jøtul is one of Europe's largest makers of wood stoves,
with manufacturing in Norway, Denmark, France, Poland and the USA. The company
dates back to 1853 and its products are sold worldwide, mainly through
specialised stores, but also in the DIY market. In 2012 Jøtul had sales of SEK
913m and posted an operating loss (EBITA) of SEK -52m. Ratos has been an owner
of Jøtul since 2006.
