Ratos, together with other owners, has decided to refinance the subsidiary
Anticimex of SEK 476m. This means that Ratos will receive a cash payment of
approximately SEK 405m. The refinancing has been made possible by the company's
favourable development in recent years.

Anticimex is a service company that offers a broad range of services for healthy
and safe indoor environments. Services include pest assurance, hygiene
assurance, insurance, dehumidification, fire protection as well as property
transfer and energy surveys. The Group is currently represented in Sweden,
Finland, Denmark, Norway, Germany and the Netherlands.

- "Anticimex is in a class of its own with 76 years of uninterrupted growth and
we see positive future prospects for the company. The refinancing we are now
carrying out has been made possible by the good cash flows and strong balance
sheet in recent years," says Ratos's CEO Arne Karlsson.

Ratos acquired Anticimex at the beginning of 2006 and the company has seen
strong development ever since. Sales have increased from SEK 1,275m in 2005 to
SEK 1,856m in 2010 and operating profit (EBITA) has risen from SEK 114m to SEK
198m in the same period.

Ratos's holding in Anticimex amounts to 85%. The total refinancing amounts to
SEK 476m, of which Ratos will receive SEK 405m to be paid in April. Ratos's
consolidated book value for Anticimex will be adjusted downwards by a
corresponding amount. The refinancing will have no impact on Ratos's earnings.
