    Jesper Lien new CEO of Plantasjen Group

    Jesper Lien has been appointed as the new CEO of Plantasjen Group (“Plantasjen”) and will assume the role on 22 August 2022.     Plantagen has acquired Flyinge Plantshop, which is one of the leading nurseries in Sweden and renowned for its expertise, quality and service. The company’s sales, of which more than 50% derives from corporate customers, amounted to SEK 82m in 2021, with an EBITDA of SEK 12m.     Plantasjen has reopened all stores

    Plantasjen has reopened all stores in Norway. From mid-March up to 38 stores have been closed, due to Corona restrictions. This means that all Plantasjen’s stores in the Nordic region now are open. “It is satisfying that all stores on our markets are now open as we enter our most important sales period of the year.     Olav Thorstad has been appointed as the new CEO of Plantasjen. He comes most recently from his role as the CEO of SATS GROUP AS and will take office in 1 October. In conjunction with this, acting CEO Christer Åberg will return to his role as a member of the Board of Directors of Plantasjen.Olav Thorstad has more than 15 years’ experience from executive positions in consumer goods.     Daniel Juhlin is stepping down from his role as CEO of Ratos’s subsidiary Plantasjen. Board member Christer Åberg will take over as acting CEO of the company effective immediately.Daniel Juhlin is leaving his role as CEO of Plantasjen and Plantasjen’s Board member Christer Åberg is taking over as acting CEO until a permanent replacement assumes the role.
