" The agency supports the code of the Nursing and Midwifery Council, which exists to safeguard the health and well being of the public. The code includes the requirement for nurses that the people in a nurse’s care must be able to trust the nose with their health and well being.

" To justify that trust, nurses working with BNA British Nursing Association must: make the care of people a nurse’s first concern, treating them as individuals and respecting their dignity; work with others to protect and promote the health and well being of those in a nurse’s care, their families and carers, and the wider community; provide a high standard of practice and care at all times; be open and honest, act with integrity and uphold the reputation of the nursing profession."
