Reading Eggs Brings Educational Reading Games to the iPad

(New York, November 14, 2012)—Award-winning Reading Eggs has launched its new Tap the Cat app in the United States. The app features 9 different activities that aide children in learning while enjoying educational games.

Tap the Cat allows children to expand their reading knowledge through rhyming, drawing, coloring, speaking and handwriting. “We wanted to create an app which children, with as basic knowledge as some 3 letter words, could use to take their reading to the next level,” commented Reading Eggs Founder, Matthew Sandblom. “We believe that Tap the Cat is a great example of how learning can be enhanced by technology, and we know how much young children love using the iPad.”

Extra features of the Tap the Cat app include e-books created out of completed work within the app, such as colored pictures and voice recordings. The e-book is unlocked and played back to the child once all 9 activities have been completed.

Reading Eggs will be offering a special launch price of $2.99 for the Tap the Cat app download until November 9th, 2012. The app is available for iPad only.
