Readly, the European category leader in digital magazine subscriptions, was shortlisted for three PPA Industry awards.
Judges summarised Ranj Begley’s leadership, vision and commitment to the publishing industry saying that ‘Ranj’s passion for the industry was never too far from the surface and perhaps the biggest compliment was that every single judge said they would be happy to be part of a team led by her’.
Ranj Begley has been instrumental to Readly’s growth in the UK and across Europe over the last five years. With a presence in 8 key European countries and the US, Readly’s content portfolio now includes over 4,000 titles
Maria Hedengren, Readly CEO said: “Ranj’s experience and passion for the publishing industry coupled with her forward thinking vision and leadership skills are invaluable and this award is testament to her commitment, both to Readly and the industry. Ranj plays a key role as Readly continues to lead the digital magazine transformation, across Europe and beyond.”
Ranj Begley said: ““I’m honoured and humbled by the Award at the same time. At the risk of sounding like a football manager, it really is a “team effort” and I have been so fortunate to have a great team of people to work with and a supportive and progressive company to work for.”
Ranj was competing for the award alongside strong competition from Hearst Magazines UK, Haymarket Media and Think. Readly was shortlisted for three awards: Industry Partner of the Year, Magazine Retailer of the Year and Team Leader of the Year at the awards.
