Continued Success for ReadSoft in the Census Segment/ After winning several census projects over the past 12 months, ReadSoft has been selected to facilitate the population census in Bangladesh. This deal is further proof that ReadSoft's software FORMS is the leading product in this segment. The order value is 100,000 USD. The Statistical Bureau in Bangladesh collects information about approximately 131 million Bangladeshis. Together with local partner GIS (Graphics Information Systems) in Dhaka, ReadSoft provides software to substantially speed up the census project. After the multi-page questionnaires have been filled out they are transported to the Institute of Statistics where FORMS will capture, interpret and verify relevant information about the population. In countries such as Georgia, Slovenia and the Ukraine we have provided software to automatically process vast amounts of statistical information.
