Leroy Merlin, a leading “do-it-yourself” provider, chose ReadSoft for improved business efficiency

ReadSoft has closed a deal with one of the most important European do-it-yourself providers. The French company Leroy Merlin has chosen ReadSoft DOCUMENTS for Invoices to accelerate processing of the 600,000 invoices they receive every year from all their stores in Spain. ReadSoft’s technology has been installed in the service company Tradial.

With 37 stores in Spain and more than 150 all over France, Poland, Italy, Portugal, Brazil, China and Russia, the French company Leroy Merlin is the second largest company on the European market for do-it-yourself articles. With the objective of optimizing their business processes, Leroy Merlin started to look for a way to automatically process all their incoming paper invoices. After comparing products for automatic data capture in France and Spain, they decided on ReadSoft DOCUMENTS for Invoices. The software is installed at Tradial in Madrid. This service company collects invoices from all Leroy Merlin’s suppliers and uses ReadSoft’s software to digitize the invoices and automatically capture all the data from them. The project started with invoices from eight stores in Madrid. Due to the good results achieved during the three months of testing, the installation has now been expanded to process invoices from all stores in Spain. Thus, ReadSoft’s software will process almost 600,000 invoices annually.
