New ReadSoft technology penetrates American market Direct solutions provider CDW becomes the first United States organization to install an automated invoice capture system by choosing the ReadSoft's technology. The deal is estimated to over USD 600,000 and is considered a market breakthrough, together with the recent Chevron deal. CDW, the leading direct solutions provider in the US, has signed a deal with ReadSoft to use the Eyes & Hands INVOICES and FORMS technology marketed by ReadSoft and integrated by Lebenson Advanced Imaging to the back end systems of CDW. The new system will automate the front end capture of invoices, human resources, and marketing documents throughout the organization. Jan Andersson, MD of ReadSoft, comments: "Our recently launched, new version of the INVOICES product is the first version aimed at an international market. We consider the CDW and Chevron orders to be a market breakthrough and a 'proof of concept' for this product in the US marketplace." ReadSoft's invoice capture software, Eyes & Hands INVOICES, uses new technology within the areas of character recognition and image-based information management. In the past, invoices have been considered too difficult to interpret electronically, but ReadSoft has now developed an adaptive learning technique to identify invoices so that it can recognize new and old suppliers.
