Optimera chooses ReadSoft DOCUMENTS for Invoices to handle 600,000 invoices per year

Software company ReadSoft and it´s partner Intentia have been assigned to deliver electronic invoice processing to the Nordic builders merchants group Optimera in Norway and Sweden. Optimera recently chose a new Business System from Intentia, and when implementing it, they also decided to automate the processing of nearly 600,000 supplier invoices per year.

With more than 90 stores in Norway and Sweden, the Optimera Group is one of Scandinavia’s leading chains among builders merchants. Until recently, the company handled most of their supplier invoices manually. The accounts payable staff read all the data from invoices and entered it into the financial system manually. When choosing to install the Business System Movex from Intentia, Optimera realized it was about time to implement a fully electronic way of processing invoices. From now on all invoices are scanned, and then the software ReadSoft DOCUMENTS for Invoices automatically reads and interprets all the information. “The deal with Optimera is the largest in Norway so far this year and it is naturally of great value to us. At the same time, the software checks the data against information in the customer’s business system.
