ReadSoft and CSC collaborate in Document Automation and sign a contract with Vodafone Sweden ReadSoft has entered into a partnership with CSC Sweden, part of Computer Sciences Corporation, which is one of the world's leading IT companies. The partnership concerns the resale and installation of ReadSoft's FORMS software. Vodafone Sweden, their first mutual customer, will use ReadSoft's software to automate registration processes. With the new cooperation agreement, CSC can offer its Scandinavian customers the advantages of automatic document handling and data capture. In the first mutual project, with the telecom operator Vodafone Sweden, FORMS will be used to automate reading and interpretation of customer service forms. Until now, the documents have been sorted by an older OCR (Optical Character Recognition) engine. However, Vodafone Sweden now anticipates substantial savings from using the automatic data capture and superior sorting in FORMS. CSC will install, integrate and maintain the system. This first project marks the beginning of a collaboration between ReadSoft and CSC that will allow them to offer more advanced solutions to their mutual customers in Scandinavia.
