ReadSoft closes new INVOICES-deal with DaimlerChrysler After ReadSoft's first software deal with DaimlerChrysler in Spain, the French branch of the car manufacturing group has now decided to implement the ReadSoft solution for automatic processing of supplier invoices. The INVOICES technology from ReadSoft will be integrated with DaimlerChrysler's SAP R/3 Business System. This enables substantial savings in the accounts payable process at the financial department in Rocquencourt. Initially, some 100,000 invoices are to be processed annually. DaimlerChrysler is one of the major automotive companies in the world. Its car brands include prestigious names such as Mercedes-Benz, Maybach, Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge and Smart. Constantly working to improve internal business processes, DaimlerChrysler has decided to launch a fully automatic process to handle their vast amount of supplier invoices. ReadSoft was chosen to supply the solution due to technical advantages, performance and the fact that ReadSoft has an SAP certification. Previously the handling of invoices was very much dependant on manual labor. From now on the process will be heavily automated, due to INVOICES self-learning abilities. Additional benefits, such as instant matching against order and delivery data, will be made possible through the integration with the SAP R/3 business system.
