ReadSoft closes world-wide agreement with Volkswagen
ReadSoft has signed a global agreement with Volkswagen, which makes ReadSoft the preferred supplier of solutions for electronic invoice processing into Volkswagen’s SAP business system. It also stipulates commercial aspects for future international deals.
The agreement has been preceded by a thorough evaluation process, where Volkswagen has compared ReadSoft’s SAP solution with others on the market. After evaluating performance and functionality, Volkswagen selected ReadSoft. ReadSoft DOCUMENTS for Invoices will greatly relieve Volkswagen of manual document handling since invoice processing and approval workflow will be handled electronically and be highly automated. The integration into SAP and the approval workflow is handled by software from the recently acquired ReadSoft Ebydos.
The solution is designed to be easily applicable and installed at different financial departments within the Volkswagen Group. ReadSoft has already installed the SAP certified solution at a number of Volkswagen units, automating the processing of more than one million supplier invoices annually, which can easily be expanded with this new agreement.
