ReadSoft delivers globally to ABB Flying start for automatic invoice capture ReadSoft will, in cooperation with Norwegian partner DocNet, deliver the software Eyes & Hands INVOICES to ABB's companies over a three-year- period. The company will use the software to register and interpret its suppliers' invoices electronically. ReadSoft estimates that it is the largest deal to date. During 1999, ReadSoft sold the software Eyes & Hands INVOICES to the leading technology company ABB in Sweden and Norway, and just recently a global general agreement has been signed. ABB intends to implement a "shared service" concept, which means that, for instance, all invoices are collected, scanned and interpreted centrally and then sent to the different subsidiaries for authorization and archiving. It is estimated that this new process will generate substantial savings for the ABB group. The Norwegian IT supplier DocNet will deliver the entire e-business solution, which includes workflow and archive applications. It is of great importance to have such a prestigious name in our customer list, and it is also our biggest deal to date." Eyes & Hands INVOICES is a system for the automatic registration and data capture of incoming invoices. The system is unique and without parallel. INVOICES is capable of learning the appearance of an invoice and where on the document the information can be found, which makes it simple the next time an invoice is registered from the same supplier.
