IMPORTANT EVENTS DURING THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2005 During the period, ReadSoft started to roll out the largest installation of ReadSoft DOCUMENTS for Invoices to date. The installation takes place at one of the largest transport companies in the world. The client is to process 30 million supplier invoices per year. One of the most important European do-it-yourself providers, Leroy Merlin, entrusted ReadSoft to accelerate processing of their 600,000 invoices every year. Yet another large deal was announced with Portugal’s leading Telecom Operator, Portugal Telecom. They process 500,000 invoices per year using their SAP Business System. On ReadSoft’s home turf in Sweden, Föreningssparbanken Finans AB invested in the software to speed up the handling of 200,000 invoices. ReadSoft´s second core product, ReadSoft DOCUMENTS for Forms, was sold to a number of companies. Among many new clients were the British Chambers of Commerce who will use the software to automate the processing of its Quarterly Economic Survey, the UK’s largest independent business survey. Yet another large volume contract was sold to the Statistics Department of Malaysia who turned to ReadSoft to process 1.5 million documents in a mere100 days. The project is an Establishment and Enterprise Census and it is the first step towards completely automating the handling of forms at the Malaysian Statistics Department. The period also contained ReadSoft’s first acquisition when a 50 per cent stake in the Danish development company Consit Development ApS was bought. The acquisition will provide ReadSoft with an opening into the Oracle world, as well as direct access to software and Oracle expertise. This will enable ReadSoft to implement electronic document management products in connection to the financial system Oracle E-Business Suite. Soon after the acquisition was made ReadSoft closed the first deal with a leading Australian telecom operator that uses Oracle E-Business Suite.
