ReadSoft January - March Interim Report · The turnover increased by 3 percent to 72,2 (69,8) MSEK · Results after tax was -3,6 (1,1) MSEK · Results per share after tax was -0,12 (0,04) kr · Cash-flow was 8,3 (1,9) MSEK IMPORTANT EVENTS DURING THE FIRST QUARTER OF 2004 With the launch of the new ReadSoft DOCUMENTS product concept ReadSoft is consolidating its leading position on the global market for Document Automation. ReadSoft DOCUMENTS is a new concept based on ReadSoft's proven technology that offers a complete solution to our customers' requirements. The launch coincided with ReadSoft's participation at AIIMexpo (New York City) and CeBIT (Hannover) in March. During the first quarter, ReadSoft enjoyed continued success with sales of software for electronic invoice processing. INVOICES software was sold to a number of large corporations. Travis Perkins, one of the top three builders' merchants in the UK, selected ReadSoft INVOICES software to process 600,000 invoices per year. The French company Lafarge Plâtres invested in electronic invoice processing technology at Lafarge's headquarters in Avignon. Continuing success on the French market also led to an order from the industrial group Schneider Electric, who are to integrate INVOICES with SAP to process 500,000 invoices a year. In Sweden the mobile communications company 3 (Hi3G Access AB) joined the group of companies investing in electronic invoice processing from ReadSoft. After a successful SAP campaign on the German market, ReadSoft and the German SAP integrator Ebydos now have a global partner cooperation. The two companies collaborate on electronic invoice processing solutions and have already obtained a number of projects where ReadSoft's INVOICES was integrated with the customer's SAP R/3 System. In March ReadSoft held its most successful customer and partner event in Sweden. Over 200 participants attended of ReadSoft's full-day event on electronic invoice processing in Kista, just north of Stockholm. Cooperating with 10 of its partners, ReadSoft explained the business benefits of handling invoices electronically and pointed out the substantial savings that the technology makes possible.
