ReadSoft January - September Interim Report (For full report see attached file or visit www.readsoft.com) · The turnover for the first nine months increased by 17 percent to 241,3 (206,7) MSEK · Results after tax for the first nine months was 8,7 (0,6) MSEK · Results per share for the first nine months was 0,29 (0,02) kr · Cash-flow for the first nine months was 8,9 (-7,1) MSEK · The turnover for the third quarter increased by 29 percent to 82,1 (63,5) MSEK · Results after tax for the third quarter was 4,5 (-3,1) MSEK · Results per share after tax for the third quarter was 0,15 (-0,10) kr · Cash-flow for the third quarter was 5,4 (-1,2) MSEK IMPORTANT EVENTS DURING THE THIRD QUARTER OF 2004 Sales have been good, especially for INVOICES, during the third quarter. The software EZ-OUT which enables fully electronic invoice flows, saw a breakthrough on the Swedish market. Familjebostäder and Fortum Service are among the companies who can now accept electronic invoices from suppliers sending their invoices using EZ-OUT. The positive sales curve for INVOICES on the European market continued. Among the new customers is the retail company Bricorama which automates invoice and accounts payable processes using ReadSoft's software. Bricorama will process some 250,000 invoices per year. ReadSoft also signed an important strategic partnership with American business system consultants Computer Support Services, Inc. The collaboration involves ReadSoft's technology for electronic invoice processing and targets the 27,500 small- to medium-sized businesses, which are using Microsoft's financial software, Great Plains. This collaboration is a part of ReadSoft's ongoing efforts to connect INVOICES with the major financial and business systems. A number of important FORMS deals were also signed during the third quarter. In the UK, the software plays an important part in a well-known research project regarding breast cancer. FORMS has been chosen to interpret 100,000 forms during a one-year period. The project has been ordered by The Institute of Cancer Research, one of the World's leading cancer experts. One of the largest FORMS deals to date was signed in France when ReadSoft was chosen to handle 1.5 million order forms at the European jewelry supplier MATY.
